Had the Chicken wings with "hot sauce" which was more like a yellow sweet chilli, no heat or spice whatsoever! Not even a flavour, kind of like a jam of some sort. This was an entree. I complained at the end, I shouldn't have been charged for it! They laughed at me and gave lame excuses. Thanks for that, I'll add piss poor service to the list now too. Food has changed, not well presented. Not a good beer selection. Disappointed. They've gone down hill in the last 2 years. Lucky for them the inn itself will keep people going back if nothing else

Great service, beautiful atmosphere, lovely oly style Inn. Beer on tap is a pleasure when you have been travelling for some time! Love it and would certainly go back, in fact I think we'll be back tomorrow night!

Staff was friendly and the ambience was very homely. It is a comfortable place to have lunch. The food is rather pricey (~$25 per dish) but the weekday specials are relatively more affordable (~$17). The mushroom sauce on our sirloin steak and chicken was tasty and the quality of the food was good. However, the steak was a little too tough and some were also overdone (i.e. ordered medium but came out as well done). We were also told that there were no refills of hot water for our pot of tea and if we wanted more, we needed to order and pay for another pot instead.

A great setting for a Sunday lunch, shady seats, acoustic music and cold beer. Some nice pub food too.. well priced

Other people on my table unfortunately had the same experience.

After a long walk through the national park I actually looked forward to a nice lunch in the beer garden. But, I disliked my meal - pork cooked two ways. The meat was dry and the cook decided to take shortcuts in preparing the gravy from an odd powder with awful taste.
